We provide a handy street-level map for each and every destination and business, so you don't waste your time asking for directions. We provide useful details in the form of a Coastal Billboard. You will find complete restaurant menus and informational summaries... all to help you make the best choices possible. We point you in the right direction, then let you make your own decisions based on your personal preferences. We even have printable coupons to help make your travel dollars stretch. |

| There sure are! Each business has a summary page, a graphical billboard, a map and gallery page, and an available event calendar. In addition, coupons may be available from businesses and every restaurant has a menu. In each category a “Quick Jump” menu on the right will break down the index to aid in navigation and exploration of that category. There is also a search box to aid in helping you find what you want if you already know what you are looking for. In addition to all this you will be able to create your own unique Coastal Itinerary, a personal “favorites” section so to speak. And last, but not least, advanced GPS technology also allows you to find nearby businesses... We call this feature the Coastal Locator. |

| The Coastal Locator is an interactive feature of the website which sorts information based on geographic proximity. A guest may use the Coastal Locator to find businesses in proximity to other businesses. The Coastal Locator is located on every business page on the site for ease of use. An example: You need to make hotel reservations and hope to park your car and not drive for the weekend, so it is important that there are restaurants near your hotel. When you click on to the hotel billboard, The Coastal Locator will list all restaurants, nightlife, shops, activities and services within a three, five, ten and twenty-five-mile radius of your hotel. You can immediately see what is nearby! And you can select the radius to search! |

| GPS in an acronym for global positioning satellite. It is a system developed by the Department of Defense of the US government for detailed mapping. Essentially GPS assigns every location three numbers, the first relating to latitude, the second to longitude and the third altitude. These three numbers specifically locate every point on the globe. This information is now available to the general public and the coordinates of any location can be determined with handheld devices which access satellites and then determine the proper coordinates for that location. Handheld devices are generally accurate to within 10-15 feet. |

| The Coastal Itinerary is an interactive feature which allows a user to save favorite information for quick review at a later date. This feature functions much like the book-marking feature available on web browsers. This convenience allows you to return to the site and share researched travel plans. You can even save a unique itinerary for each of our Coastal Destinations. The Coastal Itinerary also doubles as your own little “print guide”. Print your whole Itinerary, just the coupons and maps, or just the a certain business. We put the control in your hands. |
