      Carolina Boatworks, builders of the new Buddy Davis Edition 28’ and 34’ Center Console Outboard Sport Fish have now completed our first 20 months of 28’CC boat building. We have built fifty 28’ Center Consoles and have continued to enhance our boat with many new features,  including a livewell/leaning post combination with tackle storage, a gel coat lined forward under deck storage box with stainless steel hatch lifts, trim tab level indicator and high water alarm, just to name a few. We continue to offer the Mercury Verado engine package as our standard but still will work with you on requests for alternative engine packages.      Buddy Davis Edition 28’ Center Console
     The Buddy Davis designed and built Buddy Davis Edition 28’ Center Console is a very successful slightly unusual design. Working with Darren Roop, founder and owner of Shorebreak Marine in Virginia, we built the traditional 24.5-degree deep vee bottom aft. However, unlike some of our competitors, we carried our deep vee forward and the entry at the bow is definitely sharper than most other comparable boats. The 28 has a very soft entry in all sea conditions.
     Another design feature unique to the 28’ CC is the Carolina Flare forward and tumblehome aft on the hull sides. The flare looks great but is really very functional deflecting spray in most sea conditions. The deck and interior of the 28’CC is designed from my personal boating experience along with advise from charter captains and tournament fishermen from throughout the East Coast and especially the Florida Keys. My sons fish offshore in most any weather, I fish and cruise in good weather and use the 28’ CC in the North Carolina Sounds and Florida Keys with family and friends. The 28’ CC is really an excellent cruising or fishing platform for most all areas and conditions.
     The Buddy Davis Edition 28’CC is a spectacular Center Console outboard. We perform equally as well as our competitors when comparing fuel range and efficiency. The 28’CC remains the best all around sea boat, unquestionably the very driest boat for rough water built anywhere in the world.

     New Buddy Davis Edition 34’ Center Console
     The new Buddy Davis Edition 34’ Center Console has arrived! Like the B&D 28’CC, the 34’ is designed and built by Buddy Davis working with Darren Roop, Shorebreak Marine founder and owner. It has the same 24.5-degree deep vee aft with the vee carrying forward for an entry providing the comfortable ride in most sea conditions.
    The 34’ CC has similar flare and tumblehome as its smaller sibling, which helps in providing the deflection of spray producing the driest ride possible in a boat of this size. The hull has an integral stern engine bracket to accommodate the Twin Verado engine packages. The 34’ CC features many of the standard items found on the B&D 28’, and then some! The cockpit has a 60 gallon live well that can be converted to a 120 gallon fish box, two 50 gallon under deck fish boxes equipped with macerator pumps, under gunnel gaff -mop<
