At the Duck Deli To Go has relocated to Kitty Hawk in the Solo Conveniece store we specialize in authentic, hickory smoked Outer Banks BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, and Wings, using the legendary Duck Deli recipes! Your Outer Banks dining experience just won’t be complete until you try our freshly smoked ribs and chicken. We smoke all our Outer Banks BBQ daily in our on-site smoker and everything is freshly prepared daily! You will notice that all white meats take on a pink color when smoked. All of our meats are cooked at prescribed times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking and our sauces and marinades are a combination of local recipes with a little Duck Deli flair. Many of you may be familiar with the original Duck Deli in the Village of Duck, NC. In June of 2003 Ron Forlano opened the Duck Deli To Go in the Market Place Shopping Center in Southern Shores, to bring fresh smoked Outer Banks BBQ to Southern Shores and Kitty Hawk and just relocated and opened in Kitty Hawk at the Solo Station right across the Bypass from Hooters.
While we may take particular pride in our freshly smoked BBQ, ribs and chicken, don’t believe for a moment that that all we can do, we have a menu full of hot and cold sandwiches and salads, including our famous "Authentic Philly Steak Sub". Are you visiting the Outer Banks for a vacation. Well we have designed special packages that will make your life just a little easier, and tastier too! Designed to feed groups from 8 to 20+, "it's your vacation, let us do the cooking!" Call ahead and we will have your meal ready for you to pick up.
Many of our customers tell us we have the best BBQ on the beach, we love to hear that! Come on in and find out for yourself. We're opened 7 days a week, 7am -9pm. Our forte is Take Out but we do have limited seating available so drop on by.
