The Dolphin Watch Gallery is located in Corolla in the North Building of the TimBuck II shopping complex. Dolphin Watch Gallery captures the true spirit of the Outer Banks in beautiful original etchings, fine art, crafts and original stained glass. Beginning in 1993, Dolphin Watch Gallery began as the dream of artist Mary Kaye Umberger. Mary is not only an artist, but has recently self published two children’s books. Her original oils, acrylics and etchings are featuring the Corolla wild horses, local landmarks including the Corolla Lighthouse and the Whalehead Club and other Outer Banks landmarks are distributed throughout the gallery. In addition to Mary Kaye’s work, Dolphin Watch Gallery also offers beautiful gold and silver jewelry, handmade pottery from the region, fine wood sculptures, original stained glass pieces and mosaics as well as mosaic adorned furniture.
In addition to fine art, etchings, pottery The Dolphin Watch Gallery also offers framing services. If you need to have your photos and prints framed or have something that you would like to display in an original and beautiful presentation, be sure to ask about the framing services available at The Dolphin Watch Gallery.
Recently, Dolphin Watch Gallery has begun offering commission work for homes. Designs in stained glass and mosaics are available. If you would like to design something to make your Outer Banks home even more special, come by and discuss your thoughts with Mary.
