Colington Speedway is located just down Colington Road about a mile and is on the sound side of the road just past Colington Cafe. By being off the beaten path a little, saves us a little money and we try to pass this along to the customer with cheaper prices than our Beach Road & ByPass competition and longer rides to boot. To find us, turn off of the Bypass at MP 8 at the large intersection heading west (away from the ocean) and head on down about a mile and when you see Colington Café, we are just down a few feet on the opposite side of the road. We have a nice souvenir shop featuring all your favorite Nascar souvenirs and collectibles and ice cream too. Stop by anytime for great family fun!
Colington Speedway offers three Outer Banks go karting tracks. There is family road course go kart track that offers a winding banked course to challenge your passing, braking and accelerating skills. Fun to drive with several curves and a straight away. There is also an oval slick track to challenge your steering skills. Finally there is a kiddie track for the small ones. A simple oval and smaller go carts for the children in your party. This allows the children to get used to steering and driving themselves around. Go Carts on the Outer Banks is a fun way to spend some time with your family and Colington Speedway is the best value on the Outer Banks! Once you are done speeding your way through our three Outer Banks Go Kart tracks, you might want to stop into our giftshop for some Nascar Collectibles.
Colington Speedway Gift shop carries a tremendous selection of Nascar Collectibles. Everything from Nascar Hats to die-cast models of the cars, flags, pendants, everything for the Nascar enthusiast. The Giftshop also carries a large selection of Nascar memorabilia. There are racing suits that were actually worn by the drivers, pieces of Nascar cars and a whole lot more, its like taking a trip to an actual race.
Colington Speedway is open from Noon until 10pm all season, so take a moment, grab your family and head down to Colington Speedway for some Outer Banks Go Kart fun!
