The Burrus House Inn is a classic North Carolina, Outer Banks beach house, that has been converted and made into a spectacular Outer Banks Inn on the Roanoke Sound. One of the few Outer Banks bed and breakfast inns with direct, waterfront access, the Burrus House Inn features a spacious main house with accompanying waterfront suites. An elegant porch rims the grand entrance and features a large deck with a pergola providing a shaded entrance. The interior design of the Burrus House Inn amplifies the spectacular views of Outer Banks sand dunes including Jockey’s Ridge across the Sound, marsh grass, blue-green waters and the sandy shoreline. The suites in the main house and the separate waterfront suites have both living and bedroom areas, with queen and king-sized beds. Each of our waterfront suits has it’s own fireplace and the upstairs tower suites, feature vaulted cathedral ceilings.
